1 tbsp oil
1 big onion chopped
1 tsp mustard seeds
A pinch of Asafoetida/ hing
6-8 curry leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chilly powder
2 green chillies finely chopped
Coriander leaves for garnishing
- Heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, hing, green chillies, onion and saute till onions become soft.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, idli, mix well.
- Sprinkle few splashes of water, cover and cook for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
