AATTIRACHI (MUTTON) ULARTHYATHU

Ingredients

Mutton                         1 kg ( cut in cubes)
Tomato                        2 big
Onion                          2 big
Green chilly                3-4
Coriander powder    6 tbsp
Chilly powder            2 tbsp
Black Pepper           2 tbsp
Turmeric powder      2 tsp
Ginger                      1 1/2"
Garlic                        6-7 cloves
Cinnamon                1"
Cardamom               4
Cloves                      4-6
Curry leaves            1 stick
Oil
Salt as per taste

Method


  • Slice onion and green chillies and saute.
  • Then add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and pepper powder saute for few minutes.
  • Crush ginger, garlic and spices(cinnamon,cardamom and cloves) add with onion mixture and stir.
  • Add mutton cubes, enough water and salt to taste and cook properly.
  • Cut tomatoes lengthwise and saute.
  • Mix prepared meat with the sauteed tomatoes.
  • Best with Roti/chapati.
