500 gm   cauliflower floerts,
300 gm   small potatoes( boiled and peeled)
oil to shallow fry
1 tbsp lemon juice

For masala
2-3 tbsp butter/oil
3/4 tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies ( sliced)
1" Ginger grated
1 1/2 cup tomatoes grated

For seasoning
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
salt to taste

  1. Heat oil in a kadahi, shallow fry the cauliflower florets and small potatoes in batches, drain on tissue paper and keep aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp butter/oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green chillies and ginger stir fry till ginger changes colour, add tomatoes and the seasonings.
  3. Mix well and then add the fried cauliflower florets and potatoes in it. Toss and stir gently so that masala coats them properly and then add the lemon juice.
  4. Cover with a lid and cook on simmer for 2 minutes. remove from heat .
  5. Serve with Naan or parathas.
