Milk 1 Litre
Rice 2-3 tbsp ( Tukda rice)
Sugar  3/4 cup
Raisins and chopped Almonds 3-4 tbsp
Green Cardamom powder 1 tsp


  • Clean and soak the rice for half an hour. Drain and keep aside.
  • Boil the milk and add the darined rice to it.
  • Cook on low flame until it becomes thick.
  • Add sugar, raisins and almonds.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
  • Kheer can be serve either hot or cold as desired.
  • While serving, add ground cardamoms.
