COCONUT CHUTNEY ( KERALA STYLE)



Ingredients

1/2 Grated coconut
Green chillies 2-3
Ginger 1"
Small Onion 2 sliced

For Tempering
1 Tsp Mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Dry red chillies cut into 2-3 pieces
Oil



Method
  • Grind together Grated coconut, green chillies, ginger, onion with little water to a smooth paste in a mixer.
  • Heat a wok add oil, mustard seeds when it start splutter add dry red chillies  and curry leaves.
  • Pour into coconut chutney.
  • Serve with Idali or dosa.
