HOME MADE COTTAGE CHEESE

Ingredients

Milk 1 litre
Lemon 1
Curd 3 tbsp

Method

  • Heat 1 Liter of milk. When it begins to boil, add lemon juice.
                                                                                 




  • If you want to make softer cheese, add 2-3 tbsp of curd to the boiling milk along with the lemon juice.
  • Remove from heat when cheese separates from the whey.


        

 

  • Put the cheese in a muslin cloth and hang it up for about half an hour, so that all the whey comes out.
    


  • Put it on a chopping board and keep some weight on it.
  


  • When it sets, cut into small cubes or pieces, as desired.
