Ingredients
Tomatoes 1/2 kg
Sugar 2 tbsp
Vinegar 1/2 cup
Chilli powder 2 tsp
Ginger 2"
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Onion 1 large
Garlic cloves 5-6
Salt to taste
Method
- Blanch the Tomatoes. Cut them in to small pieces.
- Chop the onion, Garlic and Ginger.
- Cook the onion, ginger, garlic and tomatoes with chilli powder. Stir continously.
- When thick add vinegar, sugar, cardamom powder and salt.
- Cook for the 10 minutes and put into sterilized bottles.
- Refrigerate when not in use.
