Yellow Peas or any sprouts 1 cup
Boiled Potatoes     2 medium size
Onions           2 big finely chopped
Tomatoes      2 medium finely chopped
Shev/Sev       3 cups
Turmeric/Haldi  1tsp
Asafoetida/Hing a pinch
Chat Masala   1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Ready made Puris as per requirement


  • Soak yellow peas for 4 - 5 hours.  Cook them till soft.  Do not add too much water.  Add salt, turmeric, hing and bring it to a boil.
  • Finely chop onions, tomatoes and boiled potatoes.

  • Place puris on a plate. Crack them in the middle.  Fill the toppings i.e. cooked peas, chopped onions, tomatoes, potatoes, both chutneys.  Sprinkle a pinch of chat masala on all the puris. Finally top the puris with sev.
